Due to a cancellation there is now one space available on the Portuguese Camino – Aug 15th to Sept 8th 2025 – Price – $6500.00 – includes all accommodation, transport in Portugal and Spain, bag transfers and bed tax. Does not include your flights.
We will be hiking 290km over 15 days which includes one rest day.
Important for you to know: It will be very hot despite the fact that it is along the coastline. We will aim to leave each day early to avoid the worst of the heat though. You need to have a good level of fitness and be able to handle the heat. You will be carrying a day pack, your other gear is transported each day.
You will be walking on coastal tracks, beaches, old Roman roads and forest tracks through old villages and cities born from the Camino trail. Accommodation will be mostly twin share in a range of places including beach houses, hotels, apartments and castles! The dates include travel days from NZ to Porto and Santiago de Compostela to NZ, arriving back in NZ on Sept 8th.
There will be 2 full days at Porto at the start, 15 days walking plus one rest day on the trail in Vigo, two days at Santiago plus one day back at Porto at the end = 21 days accommodation.)
The cost is $6500 plus your flights which are around $3000.
